Tyk Sullivan
Founder of Vigor Strength. Based in Tampa, Florida.
Tyk Sullivan founded Vigor Strength, a premium lifestyle gym apparel brand built around custom cut-and-sew essentials for people who train. The idea was simple and specific: a fitted black tee that looked right under a barbell and still looked right at dinner. Most gym clothing was loud and boxy, and most premium clothing did not move. Sullivan drafted his own pattern instead of printing on a blank, kept the branding tonal and small, and built the first run in limited numbers.
That first line was worn by people he trained with, then by customers who sent photos back from gyms and kitchens across the country. The original line was featured on The Ellen Show. The brand has since relaunched with the Signature Tee at the center and a wider range that includes shorts, headwear, underwear, a duffle, and a women's lounge set, all held to the same standard: fit first, minimal branding, nothing that fights the body.
At Vigor Strength, Sullivan sets the product direction and the brand rules. Every piece is cut and sewn to a Vigor pattern, released in small runs, and judged by how it fits a trained frame in the gym and everywhere after. He treats the restraint as the point. A tonal lockup at the back neck, a script at the sleeve, and a V at the hem are the only marks on the flagship tee.
Outside the brand, Tyk J. Sullivan is a serial entrepreneur based in Tampa, Florida, who has been building companies since high school. He is the founder of Plutus Capital, a private investment firm based in Tampa that focuses on financial markets and digital assets, and the founder of NUMEN, a premium supplement brand.
